Public Access Terminals are available in the Register of Deeds Office, Door County Government Center, 421 Nebraska Street, Sturgeon Bay, WI   54235. Public Access Terminals are free of charge and are available for use during normal office hours.


Real Estate Records Access 
There are currently two options available to access records on-line:

TAPESTRY  – For the occasional user - Pay-As-You-Go.

What records can I access?

  • In Door County all recorded documents are available, (including CSM & Plat maps 1800’s - Current). Please note: Grantor/grantee index goes back to 1981 only, and has not been completely verified.  This may contain errors.  

What are the fees?

  • All searches cost $6.95. Each search can give you up to 200 listings. You can look at the detailed information about each document free of charge. If you want to print an image, the cost is $1.00 per page. Flexible Payment Options:

Property Reports on Tapestry

To purchase a Property Report on Tapestry you must first complete a search and find a document that relates to the property you want a report on. When viewing the details for a document if there is a button at the bottom that says "Property Report", you can click this to obtain the report.

This report includes additional information often not on the document like square footage, acreage, building details, tax & assessment info, neighborhood details and more. By purchasing this report, you will be emailed a PDF and have access to a website version of the report for 60 days.
